BF#2

Baby Frank #2 is due July 25, 2017 and per my husband boy or girl this is it.  Two and done!

Overall this pregnancy I have felt pretty good. I never documented early on in my first pregnancy so I kept a little log this time around.

Week 6: tiredness and little queasiness kicked in hard
Week 7: insomnia about 5 hrs sleep
Week 8: no nausea with snacks, started sleeping better by the end of the week, craving cinnamon raisin bagels
Week 9: getting energy back; had first ultrasound and heart rate was 161; saw baby's arms legs, spine and brain. Baby was very active and I am sleeping through the night again.
Week 10: ran for the first time (4miles) since finding out I was pregnant - felt great
Week 11: tired again and not sleeping great, second run (4 miles) felt like a marathon
Week 12: heart rate was 166 on Tues and 154 on Thurs. Ran 4 miles on Thursday while the weather was nice. Still weighed 125 my pre-pregnancy weight.
Week 13: went great until the end of the week when I was dizzy and exhausted. Randy thinks it's from not eating enough. Ran 4 miles again.
Week 14: not very hungry these days
Week 15: not sleeping much but that's b/c I have a lot on my plate planning a surprise birthday party
Week 16: baby's heart rate was 145 this week and I have put on 3.5 lbs. Finally went for a run again since the weather warmed up a bit and did 3 miles.  It amazes me that only 3 short months ago I had just finished two 1/2 marathons and a 10 miler and now I am huffing and puffing over 3 miles.

I thought BF2 was a girl from the beginning due to the heart rate at my first ultrasound but my doctor's appt this week changed my tune. Baby's heart rate was 145 and the old wives tale associates lower heart rates with boys and higher ones for girls. This makes sense since Liv was always in the 160s.

Finally gave in and ordered some new maternity clothes.  I am in that awkward stage where my regular clothes don't fit but my winter maternity clothes from last pregnancy are too big.  So I have resorted to wearing flowy dresses with leggings or tights.
