32 Weeks
How far along are you?: 32 weeks
Baby is: The size of a cabbage. Dr. predicts she is 4 lbs.
Movement: She is head down but still moving her legs a bunch.
Weight gain: At my appointment last week I was holding steady at 25 lbs.
Stretch marks?: A few finally popped out on my stomach by my belly button.
Maternity clothes?: Even maternity clothes are starting to be uncomfortable. I just want to walk around in a t-shirt and husband's boxers all day.
Currently craving: Nothing in particular but still enjoying salads.
Aversions?: None
Sleep: I have a hard time getting comfortable to fall asleep along with the restless leg and then I wake up 3x a night to pee and my internal clock thinks 5am is a good wake up call. So sleep is not my best friend these days.
Feeling: Sore! My pubic bone hurts to the touch I assume b/c her head is pushing on it, the heels of my feet ache from the time I wake up in the morning and there is so much pressure in my pelvis b/c she is low that the only relief is to sit.
Working on: Nothing currently. We are waiting for new rugs to be installed (in the next 2 weeks hopefully) so I have done NOTHING with Emmy's room. As we speak it is still a playroom for Liv. I am almost positive the nursery was completed and all clothes washed at this point the first time around.
Thinking about & anticipating: At my last appointment the doctor was concerned with how low Miss Emmy is and wanted to put me on bed-rest. However, that is just not a feasible option when I have a two year old running around. So I agreed to take it easy and we would re-assess the situation in 2 weeks. I was not dilated or effaced at all so with each passing day the continued pressure and increasing braxton hicks has me wondering if she will come early.
Recent baby purchase: New diaper bag. I bought the same Petunia Pickle Sashay Satchel I have now but in black to hide all the stains. Love this bag since you can carry like a book bag.
What are you most looking forward to?: Sleeping on my stomach again
Favorite moment this week?: Liv finally acknowledging her baby sister by giving my belly a good night kiss and saying, "Night night Emmy."
