We decided to Shoobie it up and head to the boardwalk Friday night for dinner and rides. Shoobie is the term we use for out of towners, which was originally used to describe day trippers who took the train here. The train offered pre-packed lunches that came in shoe boxes hence the term. Anyways after a long week of work, it seemed easier to hit the boards for some food and fun. We timed the rides just right as people were still getting off the beach or going to dinner so the amusement park was pretty empty.
First order of business was to take Liv on her first ever amusement ride, which was a total success b/c she loved it. I think 4 tickets is a little excessive for the Merry Go Round, but seeing her happy face each time she came around was priceless.
We danced to the music while her cousins enjoyed some other rides. |

Apparently I must be a very funny dancer and singer b/c she thought I was hysterical. |
