Chatbooks

Recently while checking out a blog I follow, I was introduced to Chatbooks.  This company creates books from your Instagram photos or a custom album.  The process is super easy and each 60 page book is only $6.  I was just thinking the other day about what if my phone died, b/c I don't back anything up, or Instagram/Facebook shut down since that is the only place I share my photos.  I would need meds to pull me out of a depression of losing all the great memories I store in my phone like the birth of my baby.  Well now I have the perfect solution.  I already ordered 4 books and am working on creating the next 2 as we speak. I have not seen the final product yet, so I hope they live up to my expectations.  See below for a code to get your first book free.

3 Months Old

Size: My little tank is 15 lbs already and growing every day.

Sleep: Nine hours, wakes for a morning snack and then another hour before babbling away.

Eat: Girlfriend eats every 2 hours and will get fussy if you try to stretch it out any longer unless she is napping. But you better have the bottle waiting for her when she wakes up from the afternoon nap b/c she is ravenous.  I can't say what her intake is though b/c it is constantly changing.  Sometimes she will take 2 oz and other times it's 5 oz.  I guess it all depends on how much she breastfed earlier that day.

Likes: Tubby time, anything to do with her Daddy, rolling, her hands & light up musical toys

Working Momma

I have been quite absent from posting because I was trying to enjoy every last second home with my baby before returning to work.  I knew the adjustment back would be hard but luckily my employers allowed me to return 1/2 days the first week.  My poor girl is certainly not happy with this working momma.  I thought I successfully established a schedule for her since they say babies thrive on them.  However, she said screw the schedule when I walked out the door Monday morning.  My little angel went from taking an hour nap in the morning and 2-3.5 hour nap in the afternoon to barely sleeping 30 mins.  Of course this has led to her melting very quickly at night.  Not to mention she will not let me put her down once I come home...thank goodness for the Baby Bjorn otherwise I would get nothing done.  Needless to say, I think she is struggling with the fact that we just spent three months together and now her whole life has been flipped upside down by my absence. I know she will adjust with time but it makes me sad to see her acting out in the only manner she knows how. My only saving grace is knowing she is in wonderful hands with family.
My girlfriend helped me at work on Wednesday

Apparently insurance really tires her out

Baby wearing is a godsend
