33 Week Bump

How far along: 33 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 31 lbs.
Maternity clothes: I LOVE the Liz Lange maternity line at Target.  It is affordable, doesn't shrink upon washing and most importantly extremely comfortable.  My only suggestion is to try on each piece before purchasing b/c I have found a size discrepancy.
Sleep: I have been sleeping pretty well considering my size.  I've been putting a pillow between my legs at night to help with back pain due to the weight of my belly when sleeping on my side.
Best moment: It's a toss up between only gaining 1/2 lb at last doctor's appointment and having a girls dinner night since I missed out on the last one. Love these ladies!

Worst moment: Overall I feel very good but I seem to get tired quite easily these days. I guess that is par for the course. Also, my heels have been killing lately from the extra weight.
Miss anything: Fitting into all of my old clothes. My wardrobe has become very limited due to the size of my stomach. The over the belly jeans make my stomach dry and itchy so they have been thrown to the wayside leaving the same 2 pairs of leggings on rotation.
Movement: She must love church music b/c each week she has a dance party in my belly.
Cravings: Apple juice & fudgsicles...not together of course! But I ate a whole box of fudge popsicles last week., usually 2 in a sitting.  Can't wait to see what my weight gain is this week...ahh!
Looking forward to: My baby shower in a few weeks.  I don't like all the attention on me so my wedding shower was a little stressful, but technically this shower is for Liv so I am pumped for the big day.  Also our home is quite modern with glass tables and white leather couches so we decided to redecorate in preparation for a little one.  Operation baby proof took place this weekend and we completely overhauled our entire main floor by purchasing a microfiber sectional, an upholstered ottoman with built in storage, an area rug, a distressed wood kitchen table and end tables.  Our house is going to feel brand new once all these changes are delivered and I couldn't be more excited.

Shopaholic

Happy Friday! My favorite past-time is shopping, but I REALLY have been trying to rein it in due to the addition of a baby soon.  Before I got pregnant, I was the queen bee of shopping.  I am ashamed to admit that I would typically go out daily on my lunch just to look, which really turned into buying something.  I figured with new expenses related to Miss Liv, it was time to curb some of that spending. Christmas of course was a good excuse to get my fix, but in the last month I have been trying to stay away from stores as to not tempt myself.  I was holding strong until this morning when my sister called to advise that Saks Fifth Ave was having a HUGE sale with 70% off.  I crumbled like a cookie and immediately went to the website to check out the cute designer duds for kids. Needless to say, Liv will be a little fashionista with her new wardrobe.

Here are some of my favs & Happy Shopping!

32 Weeks

How far along are you?: 32 weeks - only 56 days to go

Baby is: the size of a jicama.  I went to the doctor last night and he said she weighs between 3-3.5 lbs.

Movement: all the time

Total weight gain/loss: I have gained 30 lbs total so far but happy to report only 1 additional lb since my last Dr. visit 2 weeks ago.

Maternity clothes?: ha this is comical - I tried on a longer sweater I use to wear with just leggings pre-pregnancy and it didn't even cover my belly.

Belly button in or out?: as far out as it will go

Stretch marks?: nothing yet

Sleep: just this week I started to struggle sleeping since my belly is so big and its hard to get comfortable. A pillow between my legs and wedged under my stomach helps a little but I think my days of sleeping soundly are over.

Feeling: overall pretty good. Last weekend, the hip and pelvic pain began but the doctor told me last night that is normal b/c she is already head down.

Currently craving: breakfast food - particularly pancakes and french toast.

Looking forward to: some date nights out with my husband before our little lovey gets here.

Baby name:
