Baby size: The ultrasound tech told me she weighs approx. 5 lbs 14 oz already. Holy hell I am having one big baby! This should not come as a surprise b/c I was almost 9 lbs when born but my husband was only 7 lbs, so I have been praying she would follow in his footsteps. Wishful thinking I guess!
Total weight gain: As of last Friday at my doc appt, I put on 35 lbs. This had been my revised total weight gain goal, but apparently we are moving onto a new goal of 40 lbs. In my 2 appointments combined previous to Friday, I had only put on 1.5 lbs. So a 5lb gain on Friday was shocking.
Stretch marks: Not yet
Best moment this week: Seeing Olivia on the monitor at my ultrasound. True to form, she is a feisty little thing. The tech tried numerous times to get a picture of her face but she covered it with both hands. Then the tech tried to reposition her slightly, but Liv just pushed back fighting her every move. Needless to say, we left with no pictures b/c my little love has a mind of her own.
Miss anything? Being able to get off the couch without assistance, my waist, sleeping through the night, champagne, walking without waddling, not getting winded walking up the stairs, my heels not throbbing.
Movement: She is still active but not as much as weeks prior.
Food cravings: Apple juice, fudgsicles, pancakes & french toast.
Symptoms: Constipation has so kindly graced me with its presence again. Last night I learned the pubic bone pain I have been experiencing is due to the fact that she is so far down. The ultrasound showed us that her head is right against my cervix. I am hoping this means she will come early b/c its getting old that I cannot cross my legs without little shots of pain in my lower region.
Sleep: I get up about 2x a night to pee plus its getting more uncomfortable to sleep due to lower back pain.
Belly button in or out? So far out I am not sure it will ever go back in.
Labour signs? None
Wedding rings on or off? I am sad to say that last week I had to take my engagement ring and wedding band off. I moved my ring from my right hand over b/c it was bigger and honestly it felt quite strange to have my ring finger naked.
Happy or moody: Happy but tired. Crocheting things for Liv makes me very happy and excited. Last night, I made a headband for her while waiting for the big blizzard that never occurred.
Exercise: I try to do the modified version of Insanity with Randy 1-2x a week. Try being the keyword in that sentence.
Looking forward to: More date nights. Friday we got dressed up and had dinner at Atlantic City Country Club. You really begin to appreciate date night when you know they are coming to a sudden halt. Then Saturday night, a group of us enjoyed dinner and a movie. I highly recommend seeing American Sniper in an IMAX theater....simply amazing!
